Replacing burst outdoor faucet

Just wanted to close this out regarding my concerns over the Dynaflex 230 on the copper pipe.

I did as Scott suggested -- I checked a sample piece of pipe at various intervals, including today which is roughly 1 year minus 1 week.

After removing the layer of sealant, while the surface of the copper does have some mild discoloration, there does not seem to be any real 'damage' or pitting to the material.  So I think I will just leave it alone and not worry about it.  Seems like it should be fine.
