Foundation membrane is separated from its edging

Our house is about 25 years old. Over the years, the dimpled membrane has separated from the top edging and has slid down between 1-5 inches. At some places, there is some dirt between the membrane and the foundation. There are no leaks to our basement, but I am worried that it will cause issues in the future. Are there any thoughts on how I can repair this? In the attached files, you can see the separated black edging at the top and brown membrane plastics a few inches below.

@justforbuz2018 I wouldn't be too concerned as long as you don't usually get water pooling up in that area and your gutters are cleaned out making sure water doesn't fall right at your foundation during rain.

@scott-a-dixon Thanks Scott! I am going to add more pictures for reference. The problem is that the edge of membrane is below the ground level. Although I don’t get water pooling up there, I think it is better to put soil back and create a slope away from the wall. How can I seal the top edge of the membrane so that soil doesn’t fill up the gap between the membrane and the foundation. Ideally, I want to avoid using screws and nails, unless that is the only way to get it done.
