I am thinking about replacing a ceiling fan with just a light fixture. What would be the best thing to do with the switches. One is for the fan and one is for the light on the fan and the third is for a light in another room?

The options that jump to mind are below:

1)  Add an outlet so you now have 2 toggles and 1 duplex outlet to fill the 3-gang box.

2)  Remove the 3rd toggle switch and get a blank to fill the empty spot https://amzn.to/3KNmD8x

Not great options but those are the 2 easiest that come to mind.  Remember the outlet could have additional functionality like a night light, USB-A, USB-C, etc.

@dev I would add a third option, a bit more intense but a "better" fix.

3) Label what each wire goes to, remove the 3 gang box, push the wires in, patch the 3 gang hole to make it 2 gang sized, install a 2 gang box, cap the unused fan wire, install the necessary switches

@dev Two options come to mind Add an outlet for versatility including night light or USB options and consider visit a roof repair md website for more information on your project. Alter native remove the extra switch and use a blank cover for a neater appearance. 😊
